Totally cut off from the real world.no phones, no tv , just the sounds of nature around us.

We stayed here for 3 nights, and what a stay it was! My 3 year old son fell in love with this open, green place and most of all, the host shaaji, who treated him almost like his own son.

Our treks in the forest were serene. Shaaji even picked up my son on his shoulders because he got tired mid way!

The food was luscious. Muthu sir cooks with all his heart and soul, and it showed in the food.

We reset our minds to peace and quiet and got back refreshed.

The only thing that could be improved, would be the quality of the beds.apart from that, lovely place!

 Preethi A

Very special place to be able to stay

We loved this place, so close to nature. No telephone, no mobile signal, no wifi…..Just birds singing, monkeys calling and all the sounds of the jungle.

The food was plentiful and delicious (veggie available).

Shaji the guide made our stay by explaining everything we saw and taking us on guided treks morning and evening. We looked for evidence, trails, scats and prints and sometimes the animals themselves.

Also fantastic treks to the nearby peak, waterfall in which we bathed, and around the plantation that has now gone back to nature.

Lots of evidence of tigers and elephants and we very lucky to see leopard, bison, rat snake, macaques and langurs.

Lovely evenings sitting around the campfire. Would not change this place in anyway and would love to visit it again.

Great place for birding, hiking and spotting wildlife.

Make sure that you carry your binoculars and camera.

 Vivek V

Experience the forest

This place was a complete and blissful escape from all the busy-ness we have stacked up in our everyday lives. Walks in the forest with the venerable Shaji were rejuvenating, re-energizing. As a naturalist, he is always in complete command of the situation on hikes, listening and seeing and sensing what we city dwellers are blind to. We felt safe on all our hikes, even when when we were following him where there was no visible path. In fact we observed that we were not on alert, in a jungle, on foot because of Shaji. The hospitality of the staff knows no bounds and they serve enormous meals with different guests returning from hikes at different times. The accommodations are comfortable and clean, and more than adequate, because you spend most of your time outdoors anyway. We saw and heard many birds and butterflies – no big animals, but that’s okay. A place I would love to return to. Soon. Simply to remember that it exists.

A natural paradise.

A complete escape from the hectic world beyond. As you journey up the mountain you leave noise and distraction behind to focus on nature and tranquility. Yet when you arrive you are greeted with comfort and outstanding food. The views are fantastic and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife right there on the doorstep. On our first night a family of India Bison stopped just below our room with a civet cat in the tree above. Over our three days we saw wild elephants and the profusion of butterflies and birds.

 Alan B
 Greater Manchester, United Kingdom

[/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_raw_js]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[/vc_raw_js][/vc_column][/vc_row][/vc_section]

[vc_row color_set=”black_section” row_padding_top=”padding_top_none” row_padding_bottom=”padding_bottom_none” el_class=”negative_margin_top_50_front”][vc_column width=”2/3″ transparent=”transparent” align=”text-center” offset=”vc_col-sm-offset-2″ el_class=”booking-form-brown”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row row_padding_top=”padding_top_1-4″ row_padding_bottom=”padding_bottom_1-4″][vc_column width=”5/6″ boxed=”boxed” offset=”vc_col-sm-offset-1″][vc_column_text] Welcome to the forest that reclaimed its soul.
